18.56    Richard Helyer, who attended Queen Elizabeth’s Grammar School, Wimborne, for a few terms before moving to Canford School, has recently been in touch. Richard was replying to a letter I had sent him c. 51 years before. Richard now lives not far from here, and suggested that we meet up. Wonderful! One of Richard’s recent activities is building theremins (Theremin World / The Bate Collection of Musical Instruments).
