On the road by nine. Two unrelated accidents reduced Junctions 24A > 25 on the M1to one lane & closed Js 28>30, so re-routing cross-country added time to the journey, but I arrived in Sunderland in time to join the Minx for lunch.
From Sunderland to Seaham, checked in & dribbling. A couple of hours sleeping, then off to the Empire.
