On the way here, tea with Uncle Bill in Uxbridge. Uncle has had a new right-knee joint but is sharper, fitter, brighter than I am. Uncle Bill is 93. One of the new pieces of information I learnt today, referring to Estonia, is that Unlce spent some 2 years of his 5 years & 7 months as a POW in Estonia: the winters were bitterly cold, he recalls.
