Bredonborough A gentle reading beginning

Bredonborough.
A gentle reading beginning to the day. So far, no malfunctioning computer has diverted the course of the morning.
11.26 A report to Artist Advocate Andy…
the two performances so far have been wonderful, probably because they have been outside the musical world as mediated by commerce. into the maelstrom tonight... it's a wonderful cracking little band. the audience may not know what's going on, but they know it's going on. there is a quality of intentionality in the strange music & words that has a presence. the musicianship is so solid, with fairy dusting too, that the voice is set in a space where the strange commentaries on the human condition are allowed to speak. they appeal very much to the women in the audience/s.
12.03 Listening to a track sent by Adam - ace!
Reflecting on disturbance within a member of the GC family. This disturbance is generating wider repercussions.

Practising. E-flurrying in response to an arising problem within the GC community.
John Young went on at 20.00 to a light but supportive audience, in the difficult role of Support Act.
Onstage following John’s set to tune: the onstage heat has flattened the tuning, as the cold in Wyre Piddle church sharpened it. Very hot on stage & very hot in our two small dressing rooms; the spaces in between are rather chill.
Soundscapes on at 21.00, The Humans off c. 22.30. A generous audience for an honourable, if not quite sparkling, set.
