Two emails have recently swooped into my e tray, promising contact with Paul Buckmaster. One places him in South Africa, and the other in LA. I shall not be surprised, therefore, to find him in Lower Richmond.
My thanks to these spies. I remain convinced that we shall work together.
Andrew Keeling has also boldly proffered his services, and I look forward to meeting with him. Paul the B flirts with the "avant garde" while displaying a faultless "pop" sensibility. Andrew does exactly the reverse. Two sides of the same coin.
19.06. I have just sent Ozzie Richardson my latest whizz idea - that he contact Richard Curtis. Time to bring in the professionals, and I love all of Richard's work (except, of course, "The Vicar of Dibley", pfff, and did he do "the Thin Blue Line", and maybe "Mr Bean"?). Yes, yes, Richard, I love all of your work, except the bits that I don't like. Get rid of that "Vicar of Dibley", and start writing about a proper Vicar.
