Everyone knows that for a gig to really fly you have to have two things happen. First, the crowd has to be on their A-game and second, the band has to be on top of theirs. Happily, both of these essential ingredients are very definitely present in the first of two shows in one evening.
Right from the first note of the pulsating intro to Waiting Man and straight through into a seriously superior rendition of Thela Hun Ginjeet, both band and crowd hit their stride.
This generally good-sounding audience recording occasionally suffers from dropouts in the stereo picture but these do not get in the way of what is a rambunctious performance.
One doesn’t normally have Disciplne down as the number where the crowd will clap along but in Paris, France, that’s what they do, beaucoup. Considering this is the first of two shows in one evening, the band don't pull any punches whatsoever.
