When the Cirkus rolls into town it’s always an exciting occasion. Boz Burrell was never too keen on the words to this song when he had the vocal duties in 1971 and 1972 but here Jakko sings Peter Sinfield’s surreal pen portrait of the inner and outer worlds we inhabit like he was born to them.

Blew away my expectations. In response to another review, John Hegarty I will say that his experience with the muddled sound isn’t imagined. There was relatively free range for seats everywhere that was unassigned and I found that moving down two rows in the balcony cleared it up. Amazing - apart from the sound
It was amazing to hear KC live for the second time - my first time was Shepherds Bush Empire in 1996. Everything was awe-inspiring, the venue, the staging with the 3 drum sets upfront, the lineup, the tracklist - I loved the version of Islands, Lizard and even Easy Money which is not normally my favourite track.
