Although it’s very clear what subject is under discussion in this radio interview, it’s provenance isn’t. If anyone can identify the person talking with Robert we’d be grateful. The presence of Tommy Vance at the tail end of the piece might suggest it was part of the Friday Night Rock Show but that doesn’t feel like a natural fit somehow. In any event, you get to hear some contemporary musing about the two for one album that was God Save The Queen /Under Heavy Manners.

Our thanks to Gerard Boland for letting us know that the programme in question was for a Radio 1 show called Rock On, broadcast on March 18th 1980.

This track is one of Stormy's Monday selections. It is currently available as part of his next bumper collection. His first year of treasures from the murky, cavernous DGM archives, torch in hand, fedora upon his head is already available for download.
