Posted by Sid Smith on Aug 21, 2023

Andrew Keeling, best known to the DGM world for his marvelous orchestrations of Robert Fripp’s soundscapes and his musical guides to King Crimson’s albums, has been busy of late.

In May this year, his 2022 piano quintet, The World’s Wound, written for Ricardo Odriozola and performed by the RO Ensemble at Bergen School of Music…

In June Jacob Heringman and Clare Wilkinson also performed Andrew’s new lute-song, Lock Up, Faire Lids written especially for them as part of their appearance at the Swaledale Festival and seen here in rehearsal…

In July Andrew’s Concerto 'Pearl' for electric violin/loops and chamber orchestra was also performed by Steve Bingham and the Stratford-upon-Avon Symphony Orchestra conducted by Dan Watson in Stratford.

Andrew is currently at work on a piano sextet and will be appearing this coming Saturday at the Playing Fields music festival in Kildare.
