HUNDREDS OF EXCITED FANS

The Coventry Telegraph reports on the Jazz Festival and gives Travis and Fripp a mention. My thanks also to Teepee who was at Bishop's Cleeve and Coventry and writes

"Two delightful concerts in the connected but wildly different venues of Coventry Cathedral and a little parish church near Cheltenham. The Friday gig at Bishop’s Cleeve was unexpected, nicely intimate and a treat for the very mixed audience - half obviously knew what to expect, half were anticipating a folk duo, I’m sure.

Coventry was a magnificent setting for essentially the same set but which sounded noticeably different when heard from the main seating (first half) and the rear of the cathedral (second half). I noticed Toyah sitting on her own towards the back, hardly moving a muscle throughout the whole second set.

Thanks, Theo and Robert, for the new music and some echoes from the Crimson, Gong, No Pussyfooting and Evening Star past."
