Red will be 50 next October 6th, in celebration of the anniversary of this classic King Crimson album, DGM & Panegyric will release a 50th Anniversary Edition on October 11th, which will be available in as a 4 disc boxed set (2 Blu-ray & 2 CDs) and as a 2 LP 200 gram vinyl set.

Rolling Stone has released its list of the 74 best albums of 1974, and King Crimson's Red is ranked at #13. Click here to read the magazine's comments on the album. Red, the final King Crimson studio album of the 1970s was released 50 years ago this year. Although the band famously 'ceased to exist' by the time the album hit the shops, it went on to become one of the most widely acclaimed releases in King Crimson's extensive back catalogue. In celebration of the anniversary DGM and Panegyric will released a 50th Anniversary Edition on October 25th, available as a 4-disc boxed set (2 Blu-ray and 2 CDs) and as a 2-LP 200-gram vinyl set.
