John Gaydon, the G of EG Management has died. John formed EG with his business partner David Enthoven (who died in 2016) after the pair quit their posts at Noel Gay Music in January 1969 to focus on managing King Crimson. After the formation of ELP in 1970, the group were initially managed by EG but following a series of clashes with Greg Lake, Gaydon left in 1971 and went on to form his own management company, initially looking after Marc Bolan. Over several decades John was involved in numerous music-related ventures and ran his own video production company, Omniverse Vision until 2015. The details of his passing aren't known but his death was mentioned yesterday on Twitter by Sting.
