During lockdown Tony Levin found some road movies from 1982: backstage handicam footage from the Beat tour of the USA: dressing room banter, catering, soundchecks, Robert loading the bags into the cars.At the time, these might have had little value. Now they are a wonderful time capsule, which we hope will form the backbone of the long-awaited Collectors Club 49.If nothing else they show that life on the road for the band is easier forty years on...
