G3 has me scheduled for a 45 minute first-of-the-evening set. So, to get into beginning-gear, that's the set for today.
This morning's set was a set of tone colours and, for me, strangely moving. Why strange? Well, 40 minutes of sustained droning shouldn't move me quite as it does. But it does. Formal musical analysis doesn't explain to me what they are, what they do, where they're going, where they come from.

A good work-out with Ade, including a nuovo-rock piece (working title Up The Hill Forwards) begun in the music room at World HQ; ie in England. This is significant: I have been unable, for some years, to originate musical ideas in England. Hopefully, this has now changed.
In 19 minutes time a Guitar Craft Level Four begins in Kiel. As a contribution to the course & its participants, and to put things in perspective, I'm off to another beginning - the first day of Kill Bill II on general release.
19.40 Pooey pooey. Ian Wallace is playing a jazz trio gig at the Frist in downtown Nashville. I'd been hoping to get there from the Opry Mills Dream Theatre. Instead, here I am dribbling pitifully on another time zone.
