One disappointing arising of the day: a contract has arrived from the lawyer representing an artist I was planning to visit in November, to record a collaboration album. This was an exciting venture, and I looked on it as a major project for me. There are two clauses I head straight for in any record contract. And there they were. One is understandable, but personally unacceptable. One is understandable, regrettable and globally unacceptable. And that's only the first two clauses I head towards.
