11.29    The non-industrial dispute is underway once more.

12.45    Stepping over to World HQ to meet The Man From The Council. The council have surcharged me for having an empty building. Errrr? This dates back to when I first acquired World HQ and substantial building works were underway; ie the council’s filing system is at least seven years out of date. But I spoke to two people from the Council on this, and still they added the surcharge! What? The Man From The Council is coming to determine The Truth Of The Matter.

I doubt that anyone who knows me would consider me a minimalist in furnishing; and the term does not easily sit with bibliophile.

comps are for family and friends.

many of the people who come are financially pressed.
the press are un-pressed.
the principle is: we value what we pay for.

if the attendance of the press is professionally driven, their representatives are unlikely to enter the spirit of the event.

whether we receive reviews, or otherwise, is not a matter of concern.
