In NightWorld: with John Wetton, who lived in a high balcony-apartment opposite and was surprised when he looked out from his balcony and saw me opposite, very close. It was good to see John.

Waking around 05.00 to party music, still ongoing on at six.

A grey day.

09.43    Morning sitting with the Thirty-Minute Sitters. I go in early for a 45-minute sitting.

Breakfast with Silence visiting, convincingly received.

Reports from the three zoomers of Zum on their performance in Mendoza yesterday evening.  This was considered a success. They gave an interview just before performing – oh no!

Reports, comments and observations on our own work yesterday afternoon and evening. The consensus seems to be that House of Guitars is developing both sensitivity and the capacity to respond.

What for this morning?
Continuing to address the Basics and the Seven Primaries with the Buddies.
Martin and the Mighty Bull, Claudio and Horacio, Luciano and Shinkuro and Fernando are giving personal meetings.
Alexander meetings with Violeta, personal meetings with Hernan, some personal meetings myself.

Tea at 16.00.
Various persons meeting with the Buddies throughout the afternoon.

A personal meeting for myself, on returning to the room, with an attendee of the Intro Team having personal concerns.

18.35    Tea at 16.00 with family and friends visiting.

Beginning with Rules of the Circle for moving into, within, and out of the Circle Space.

Then to a few words on beginning-approaches to Developing Variations.
Music is a quality organized in sound and in time. The quality is eternal, the forms of organization are developed within various musical communities at different times and places.
Several of the Team took two notes, G and F, and turned them into music.
Inversion, Transposition, Retrograde Motion, Extension, Diminution approached in a practical way. Substitution mentioned but not developed.

Then four Queen Viciouses (or should that be Queens Vicious?) were placed at the Four Poles of two groups within the Circle.
The aim is for the Whizz to return to the first chair before it has left: please whizz, faster than the speed of light!
Whizzing in two groups, becoming one group.

The Circle left formally, following the leader in a snake, emptying the ballroom for T’ai Chi with Luciano.

20.54    Dinner at 19.00. Extraordinarily noisy. Someone shoosed! and Silence became available. Nourishing Silence.

Our evening’s work: I proposed a personal meeting between the Intro Team and Robert, with no-one else present other than Fernando as translator. The proposal was accepted.

Five personal meetings before then, of which four have been and gone.

Informal seating.
This was a personal meeting, so the requirement of relevance was waived.
Questions about the origins of the tuning and the beginning of Guitar Craft.
The right hand: a player facing the “fact” that their picking may never get faster. I feel that with the efficient GC Right Hand, within three months this could change. How to play faster? The Clean Shits & Tedious story.

Many good questions and comments. This is an authentic, large Level One.

Challenge as a pointed stick: The Hat appeared. It was not expected, and the import of the names appearing in groups of two, three, four, five, six, seven and (terrifyingly) one, took a little time to sink in. Also, at least one full group piece. What – for everyone?

Leaving c. 22.37 with a millage around the names on small pieces of paper, placed on the stage.

Fernando and myself passed the room by the Chapel with a performance team, Director and Promoter Nunez overseeing.
