Today at the Vicarage : The Vicarage

Punk was away today after attending the AIM (Association of Independent Music) Christmas dinner on my behalf. He suffered cheerfully. Beer and chips coated in melted cheese was apparently followed by an incident in his car when a drunken attendee offered him some draw.
When Punk declined, the man insisted
"Oh come on just a fiver".
Punk started to drive off, whereupon the man sat down in the passenger seat.
When Punk finally evicted by force, his unwelcome guest apparently accused him of being antisocial, and tried to take his phone charger with him.

I am sure that there is some witty moral about our industry hidden within this tale, except your diarist is to feeble to find it.

Answers on a postcard, please.

Meanwhile, I spent a fruitful day with Donbledore reviewing Punk's first draft of the Chronicles. As he is refusing to rewrite any of it, it will, I assume, have to be the final draft. There is a final section, which he has promised by the end of January. If he can keep away from men thrusting draw upon him.
