Sarde's Masque Ballad

ProjeKct Three makes an impromptu appearance in sessions at Studio Belewbeloid while working on material which would later form the basis of The Power To Believe. Finding the trio of Robert, Trey, and Pat in something of a mellow mood, one has to wonder why this idea, showcasing a DX7/Fender Rhodes sound, was never formally fleshed out into a full-blown ballad?

Interesting track, beautifully played
This is a really interesting track, that I would have never believed, it was a King Crimson (Projekct) recording if I hadn't seen the artist's name. A different approach, highly experimental. I really enjoy this era of King Crimson and now that I've mendioned it, I eagerly anticipate the Heaven and Earth box set. Sarde's Masque Ballad is definitely worth a purchase. Also, the sound quality is top notch.

Nice groove
If you're a fan of the 2004 tidbits which have been released over the years you will likely enjoy this. While it's clear that the 3 players are simply exploring ideas, the short piece is still a fun listen. Certainly worth a buck!
