      I'm very pleased November 3, 2007

I was also a member of this audience. Although disappointed I was not old enough to veiw the band at the Park West -Discipline tour, not being 21 years old, I was delighted to obtain tickets for the Beat tour at Poplar Creek in 1983. Upon arrival at the venue, we were turned away by securtiy for a reason not known at the time. I was a bit angry. This show was significant at the time. Now 22 years old, having outpatient surgery the same day as the show and having ended a very nasty relationship with a young woman, decided to pay for three surprised friends all being big fans. One, my late friend Emmett, bless his soul, a kind and gentle man and a genius, that was beside himself this night. Earlier in the year, Bill and Ade were in some record store in Skokie, IL. I woke Emmett up early, we drove in and met them. Emmett was beside himself. KC just had released "Three Of A Perfect Pair". When I told Emmett of the record and one tune being named "Larks Tounges in Aspic III", he was too anxious to describe. This recording although the quality is hurting a bit is a very significant part of my memory and I am very happy to find this here. If you were at this event, I wish you too to purchase this file. This night was special. All four of us, three never having witnessed the mighty Crim, were left with our mouths open. There were people sitting just behind us, having told us they never heard of this band and asked us if it is going to be any good. I suggested to the two young men to "fasten your seatbelts". They were no less than blown away. Thank you very much Uncle Bobby. If you’re ever in Chicago, your money is no good here. Dinner on me.

Absent Crims Thu., Aug 14, 2008

This show is the true spirit of the 1984 King Crimson with all his strong and weak points, full of energy, rhythm and power.
In first place, the violent, brutal and powerful "Entry Of The Crims", an altered, modified Read more

Discipline and Thrakking Sat., Nov 17, 2007

The violently creative Entry of the Crims lead-in makes Thrakattack sound like an Air Supply album, combining the Dionysian influence with a lot of noise.
I was reluctant to get this download at
first because it is a duplication of
Absent Lovers. While AL is sort of
the definitive "discipline" version of the band at this time, this download is the "thrak" version -- raw and Read more
