My favorite show of that era.  This show is funny, especially creative, and the sound quality is pleasant to listen to and not as digitally in your face as some of the later Crim shows.  Certainly 5 stars!!!!

This is far and away my favorite of the 2000-2001 Crimson concerts (that I’ve heard so far, anyway -- I don’t have all the downloads yet, time and tide, love gloom cash love and all that). Every piece is strong and powerful, and the improvs are way better than Trey Gunn rates them. The fuzz-metal section of "FraKctured" is something of a high point, well worth the delayed "Oh my GOD!" from an overwhelmed fan after its conclusion. Pat’s drumming stomps throughout. No weak spots or shaky tunes, to my ears, despite the usual clunkers here and there -- a powerful show all around. --Chris DeVito

Where is Trey? ok ok excellent show, the guitar of Mr. Fripp sounds like...uhh, funny beginning of the Three of a Perfest Pair, and very interesting improvs.

This show is special to me because it was my first time seeing KC.  Thank you DGM for offering it to download.  Great setlist, great audio quality.  I highly recommend this one!

Although it was 7 years ago, The Oct 24 2000 show at the House of Blues in Hollywood remains in my memory as one of the best HOB shows I have ever seen,  ( I go there a lot )  and from what I have heard thus far,  the tightest and most vibrant TCoL set  I have heard to date as well.  I highly recommend this download... Robert's proud and self assured look on the cover photo says it all,  He was on fire that evening... Check out the solos... Saw you there dude!

A different set list for a different night. Tuesday night was much more powerful than Monday, with band & audience meeting & matching. This is the kind of performance I associate with King Crimson.

Then, on to the post-show hustling. Los Angeles is a town which knows the hustle very well. Tonight's began with the professional variety: the character who simply walked into the dressing room with the line that my Sister had promised to introduce us - "where is she now?" Well, actually right in front of your eyes, dude, and actually she doesn't remember you & she doesn't promise to introduce her brother to anyone. The CDs in his hand were not, as my Sister assumed, for signing. They were being delivered by the artiste: this was a promotional hustle.

Then, on the way out, the agressive & manipulative fan hustle. In this case, the characters who only lived to have their photograph taken with Fripp, who would also like his autograph & who had spent 14 hours on a 'plane from Switzerland to have this photograph taken. They claimed. My reply while fleeing down the hall: "I hope you enjoyed the music".

Today was critical & pivotal in connecting to the DGM & KC futures. Lunch with Patricia, David Singleton & Paddy Spinks. Paddy was an EG employee & handled The League of Gentlemen (1980) & then KC (1981-84). We had lunch soup & salad at the California Pizza Kitchen, Beverley Centre, & focused on future models for what is now the record industry. Then David, Sister & I went over to Starbucks & the vision future for DGM began unfolding in front of us.

Sister & I went off to the Bodhi Tree bookstore, & David to DGM LA. Paul Richards & his wife Stacey drew in as Sister & bRuVvEr were walking along La Cienaga en route to DGM for a meeting. They became our taxi. The synchronicity of this was remarkable.

Now Sister has just left after cutting my hair. Her barbering is second to none.
