Where have you been hiding this stuff Robert? I think I could stand the fires of hell and think nothing of it so long as I had a few of these tunes in my ears. Years ago when I saw the Crafties in Central Park, I thought this music was a signpost showing me the way in life. I think no differently now. Mr Stormy, keep mining these nuggets. I downloaded all 3 volumes and some of this material is the best RF jams I have ever heard. I can not thank you enough! A true believer.

Loving this as I’d expected; lots of variety in so many ways.

Now, is someone going to make cover art available soon?

I am still enjoying the music from this collection.  Unfortunately, some of the tracks on disc 2 are mislabeled.  Titles for tracks 6, 7, and 8 are swapped with each other.  The titles are wrong on the webpage, in the tags, and in the filenames.

Here are the correct titles for those tracks:

6) Waiting Man
7) Fives
8) Find Something Which Is Good For You

I compared all of the track lengths on disc 2 with the lengths given on their individual web pages, and those are the only three that are out of sync.

If anyone used my previous post for filenames or tags, here are the adjusted filenames for those tracks:

206-King Crimson-Waiting Man (Bill Bruford, Beat sessions 1982-03-16).flac
207-Robert Fripp & Trey Gunn-Fives (First Day sessions 1992-12-13).flac
208-Robert Fripp & The League of Gentlemen-Find Something Which Is Good For You (Sessions 1980-02-28).flac

I wish that I had listened to all of the tracks first before posting yesterday, but I assumed that the titles in the files would be correct!

What a fantastic collection!  I do agree with the reviewer who wanted to have the files tagged.  (The webpage and filenames only list each track’s name, not who did it, nor when it was recorded.)  It was a pain to go to a separate page for almost every track, collect the information, and then tag the files.  I renamed the files based on that info (track#-artist-title).  I thought that I would share them here to perhaps save other people some work.  If you rename your files to these names, most audio tools will allow you to tag your files based on filename.

As last year, it’s great to have this as a FLAC collection. But not tagged? That’s disappointing. It seems that DGM downloads are pretty hit-and-miss when it comes to tagging, and it’s a pain to deal with on a collection this large.

Hence 4 stars...

Glad that there’s a 2nd installment of Mr. Monday’s oddities.  I assumed there would be a #2, so I did not bother listening to a lot of them when 1st out, but now they are all here for me, just in time for Christmas!  Thanks!
